Very shocking and sad news this morning as it has emerged that "Love Island" star Sophie Gradon has died aged 32-years-old.
Gradon's boyfriend, Aaron Armstrong, confirmed reports of her death on his Facebook page, posting a photo of himself with Gradon with the caption: "I will never forget that smile I love you so so much baby your my world forever ever and always".
The former Miss Great Britain coupled up with Thomas Powell in the villa but hit headlines when she began a relationship with fellow contestant Katie Salmon.
Northumbria police said officers arrived at a home in Medburn, Ponteland, just before 8:30 p.m. and found the 32-year-old woman dead, Sky News reported. "A report will now be prepared for the coroner", the statement read.
Co-star Olivia Buckland wrote on Twitter: "Awful terrible news this morning". My thoughts are with your family, friends and loved ones at this horrendous time. I am gutted. I am so sorry the world failed you.
"I'm heartbroken for you Soph to have felt this pain".
She tweeted: "You were such an intricate, creative, intelligent soul".
While Olivia Buckland shared a series of tweets expressing her grief at the loss of her co-star.
"You helped us through so much". Your smile was one in a million.
'A young woman who hasn't harmed anyone but a woman who has faced a torrent of judgmental and close minded opinions since leaving Love Island. "All my love and thoughts with your nearest & dearest". I can not work out what to say.
Amber Davis wrote: "I am in absolutely in shock!"
Nathan Henry tweeted: "Rest in peace you handsome little angel, the heavens are blessed with a lovely smile". Lovely girl. Please rest in peace now.
