Square Enix’s E3 Presentation Leaves Audiences Asking: Is This It?

Just Cause 4 is promising to be much better than its predecessor, and Square Enix highlighted some of the new game's improvements during its E3 2018 showcase.

While Square Enix's showcase was ultimately disappointing, it's all their own doing.

A brand new game from Square Enix, Babylon's Fall takes place in the far future and perhaps mimics the fall of real-world Babylon in 500s BCE. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf. A lot of games that were presented at Microsoft's E3 press conference.

Following its E3 reveals, Square Enix released a large back of screenshots and artwork of its upcoming JRPG Kingdom Hearts III. The stealthy gameplay from Shadow of the Tomb Raider was interesting, but lacked impact after the cinematic trailer that was shown yesterday.

After the new title announcement, we got to once again see footage from NieR: Automata BECOME AS GODS edition releasing for Xbox One on June 26th. Visually it's very good, capturing the likenesses of the characters very well indeed. Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV will be pairing up in Summer 2018 as the Rathalos appears in FFXIV.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is up next with two members of DONTNOD explaining how this game will relate to Season 2 of Life is unusual including some links to entice players.
