Transference was announced today at Ubisoft's E3 conference as a VR game that is a collaboration between Ubisoft and Spectrevision. Players will be able to shift between three perspectives of a family.
Players will experience the limits of techno-psychology and escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth.
The game is a VR title and finds players navigating around a home and gathering clues about the family's history by using their collective brain data. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects and maybe you will influence their fate.
Transference will be launching for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in autumn 2018. Will the gap between movies and VR games be thoroughly obliterated, or will your sanity be the first to go inside this horror exploration experience?
The game was shown off by Elijah Wood, owner of SpectreVision, the company developing the game alongside Ubisoft.
Transference is said to feature a branching narrative, with the ability to affect the lives of the family by slowly piecing together a mystery. The game offers full interactivity in VR on PlayStation®VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Match your needs with customizable input for controls on every platform.
