A woman has accused Jamie Foxx of slapping her in the face with his penis, an allegation the actor-musician is calling an "absurd" lie.
Foxx's attorney spoke with TMZ and said the singer and entertainer who will be hosting this year's BET Awards denies the sexual allegations being leveled against him. She claims when she refused, Jamie struck her in the face with his penis.
Foxx plans to fire back legally at his accuser. Next, a friend of Foxx told the woman she had to leave the residence.
The unnamed woman claims the incident occurred at a party at Foxx's Las Vegas residence. However, the statue of limitations - which is three years for Nevada - has long since expired.
The accuser, who has remained anonymous, said the Oscar victor assaulted her in Las Vegas almost 16 years ago, at a time when she said she was partying at his home there and he tried to convince her to perform oral sex.
TMZ reports that the incident happened in Las Vegas in 2002 and the woman filed the report last week.
"The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002 or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened", the statement concluded.
The accuser said that she only recently reported the incident because she was inspired to speak up by the #MeToo movement and wants the incident on record in case others come forward with similar claims about Foxx. Las Vegas police now list the case as an open investigation, but law enforcement sources told TMZ that the woman probably waited too long to report the case: The statute of limitations for this kind of assault is three years.
