Egypt's flagship airline EgyptAir has dismissed reports that its London-Cairo flight ms780 experienced technical difficulties mid-flight while en route to Cairo. Security sources told Reuters that the blast appeared to have taken place at a fuel-storage facility.
Egypt's civial aviation minister Younis al-Masry concurred that the blast had occurred at fuel tanks outside the airport's perimeter.
