Chelsea have sanctioned a season-long loan move for Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi, who will head to Valencia following the close of the Premier League's transfer window.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille for £33 million in 2016 but found Premier League minutes hard to come by, with Antonio Conte favouring Diego Costa and often deploying Eden Hazard as a false No. 9.

Michy Batshuayi has failed to convince Maurizio Sarri for the upcoming season and has agreed to another loan move.

Zouma joined Chelsea from Saint-étienne in January 2014 and made 71 appearances for the Blues first team.

The Belgian forward spent last season on loan at German League side Borussia Dortmund after spending the first half of the 2017-18 season at the Stamford Bridge. I prefer to have 23 / 24 players, and three or four very young players.

The defender only managed just 13 appearances in their title-winning 2016-17 season before being sent out on loan to Stoke City on loan last season.

Batshuayi made three appearances for Belgium at the World Cup in Russian Federation this summer, scoring after coming off the bench in the 5-2 group-stage victory over Tunisia.

He scored nine goals in 14 games across all competitions before injury ended his season.
