My personal life is not for public consumption: Priyanka Chopra

It seems PeeCee is dogged by such rumours and has finally opened up about how much about her life she permits to be public.

"Alex to me is an unapologetic modern female who lives life on her terms". So she basically plays a man, which is great, because girls do not play that ... and I was like ' Yes, we can turn the tables - it's my dream to be able to play a man ... "I don't have to explain or defend about my relationships, my friends, my family to anyone". She said, "I didn't".

The rumours of their wedding began when she opted out of Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat and he dropped a hint that she left the film because of a "very special reason", which she told the makers in the "Nick of time".

Priyanka Chopra has been introduced world wide for its skilled commitments. "That's the next thing I want to do", said the actress, who also expressed a desire to do Broadway as she loves watching theatrical productions when she is in NY.

'It is a smart thing to recognise opportunity as it knocks on everyone's door, ' she said.

Speaking about her path towards American TV show "Quantico", she said that before an offer was made to her for the role in it, she made it clear to the American producers that she "did not want" to play the cliched roles Indians are known to portray. "Why do we always play the sidekick?" she asked, "I wanted to play a leading lady". "But because I am so afraid of failing that developed a way of not being nervous", Priyanka said.

Priyanka and Nick have been in touch post the 2017 MET Gala and have been linked romantically since May.

Currently Pee Cee is gearing up for her upcoming Hollywood project, Cowboy Ninja Viking with Chris Pratt along with her Bollywood film, The Sky is Pink opposite Farhan Akhtar.
