The 20-year-old daughter of late King of Pop Michael Jackson has started her own music career in a group called The Soundflowers, and at the weekend performed in Los Angeles at a benefit for F-k Cancer. Paris made a post on the band's Instagram story telling her followers that doctor's were able to operate before the abscess burst, which could cause septic shock and possibly death.

"That's one of the things that just grows and grows and grows until it pops".

Paris Jackson has revealed details behind a recent health scare which saw the 20-year-old undergo surgery. "I was sh- my trousers", Jackson wrote on Instagram, along with a gallery of photos with her grandmother and the band.

"It was definitely the most pain that I've ever been through in my entire life considering I'm covered head-to-toe in tattoos, but I'm alive", Jackson said in videos on the band's Instagram Story. National Library of Medicine, it's best defined as "a pocket of pus", which can appear "almost anywhere in your body" and can be caused by various forms of bacteria, parasites, viruses, and "swallowed objects". I love you so much grandma.

The operation didn't stop Jackson from getting on stage the next day.

The medical professionals explained to her that she could've gone under anesthesia for the operation, but ultimately, she chose to do it while she was awake - a courageous choice. Paris wrote on Instagram.

Paris also described how she's on a lot of medication to help with the pain post-surgery. Katherine raised Paris and her brothers, Prince Jackson, 21, and Blanket - who now goes by B.G. As you may know, Paris and Katherine lost Joe Jackson, Katherine's husband, due to pancreatic cancer, at age 89. "I shouldn't have even left bed today".
