In a bid to stay ahead of the competition, Samsung has something special in store for fans.

Samsung is rolling out a new update for Galaxy Note 8 which brings Super Slo-Mo and AR Emoji for the users.

We'll find out for sure on 11th October. when the event is streamed on Samsung's website. Samsung Malaysia is extending its Yearly Upgrade Program to cover the next Samsung Galaxy Note flagship model and you can get it at a discount when it's released next year.

The invite doesn't offer many hits to what we might see at the event, besides an image that says "4X the fun".

Samsung could be hinting at either 4x zoom or 4 cameras here.

It seems pretty likely that this refers to the next Samsung mobile phone having four camera lenses. The tipster also suggested that all the four cameras will be placed at the back, making it the first smartphone with a quad-camera setup.

Samsung has already confirmed it's set to announce its first foldable phone (codenamed the Galaxy X) before the end of the year, but now we expect that to come in November.

Samsung has scheduled an event in Malaysia on October 11, where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone under its Galaxy lineup.
