NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 16: Actor Chris Hemsworth attends the "12 Strong" World Premiere at Jazz at Lincoln Center on January 16, 2018 in New York City.

On Monday, Chris and Luke showed Scott some famous Australian hospitality by offering the worldwide visitor a free ride. I just felt like I was hanging out with some friends'.

Scott added that he assumed Chris and Luke were just "normal" guys and not involved in the movie business.

After flying him and his guitar to Byron Bay, Hemsworth said it was "back to hitchhiking" for his new friend.

A video posted on Monday, Oct. 22, on the "Thor" star's Instagram shows him and Zocchi in a vehicle after they landed in Brisbane.

Luke then panned the camera over to Chris sitting in the van's backseat, who said: 'We're going to Byron, we'll give him a lift!'

But the ride wasn't going to be as straightforward as it first appeared.

"Little does he know we're getting a chopper", Luke told the camera.

Hollywood megastar, Chris Hemsworth had just arrived back in Brisbane and was on his way back to his home in Byron Bay when he spotted an American hitchhiker, Scott Hildebrand.

It's fair to say that Scott looks pretty happy in the clip.

Scott spoke about the experience during an interview for E! Hemsworth jokingly asks only for a bit of gas money in return - the low price of "four grand".
