The big guy immediately started pigging out on the snacks.

It happened recently in San Bernardino County after deputies were called to a neighborhood in reference to a pig "the size of a mini-horse".

The caller reportedly described the road hog as a real porker, comparing it to "the size of a mini horse".

Deputies used Doritos to lure a large, wayward pig back home after it escaped in Highland on October 13, 2018.

According to the police department's Facebook page, the suspect was a recidivist runaway razorback, so officers knew what to do: Deputies Ponce and Berg whipped out a bag of "Popping Jalapenos" flavor Doritos chips and were on the case.

The deputies hatched a plan.

"We were able to put him back and secure the gate", Deputy Ponce said.

"They made a trail and he followed", sheriff's officials wrote.

"They were both a terrified, nervous wreck when they were first found, and both were in very bad shape, covered in cuts and bruises, coughing up water for days, and on top of this, Jax was unable to open his eyes", wrote Ziggy's Refuge rescuers on Facebook about the pigs, named Jax and Flo.
