Red Dead Redemption 2 Launch Trailer Declares People Outlaws For Life

While the anticipation is exceedingly high, I don't expect that to be the case with Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2.

The trailer is fairly short, but shows off some of the game's action, cutscenes, and story beats.

And, if you're buying the game as a pre-ordered digital download, you should take advantage, particularly if your internet connection speed is slow.

The biggest game of the year is out next Friday and Rockstar Games has just released its launch trailer...

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb to the law are killed. Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde game have to flee from a job gone a bit wrong, struggling to survive as the feds and bounty hunters try to claim your bounty.

Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26. "As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him". I forgot how good the score from the original Red Dead Redemption was.

If you've bought the Xbox One version of the game you're looking at a 107GB installation, while it's a 99GB download on PS4 (as well as needing an additional 50GB of free space for the installation process itself). Given the game's install size, you can nearly guarantee a huge open world with next-level detail, but we'll have to wait until the October 26 launch date to find out more.
