Assassin's Creed Odyssey Raising Level Cap

In the first questline, "The Show Must Go On", the player takes on the role of Leonidas in a play about the Battle of Thermopylae and in the second questline, "Divine Intervention", they'll meet a mysterious woman who will challenge their mettle with divine trials.

The Lost Tales of Greece update will come out this month and will include additional rewards.

Just in case you thought it was way too easy to hit the level 50 cap in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Ubisoft also stated that this update will be raising the cap to level 70. Every other week an Epic Ship appears and these seem to be working as intended now.

More Epic Events are in the works as well featuring Epic Mercenaries and Epic Ships, for those over level 30.

Remember, the Oikos of the Olympians sells a Loot Box that may (!) contain any of these items.

In a new video, Ubisoft detailed new content being added to the game throughout November.

Defeating the Cyclops will be a high-level challenge, and should you manage to succeed you will be rewarded with a Legendary Bow. There will be no time limit, so prepare yourself properly and reduce it at your own pace!

Ubisoft also outlined features and improvements that are set to, or have already been implemented into the game.

I saved the best for the last! All this new stuff also means the level cap is being raised by 20. Instead, it's new post-launch content like today's which is aimed to keep players hooked. Those who reached level 50 will gain all the experienced they've earned since then and added to the new level cap.

What has started with Origins, is now fully realized with Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The gear system in Odyssey is a bit more complex.
