Big retailers gear up for Black Friday

Last week, Target released its Black Friday advertisement.

Starting online at 10 PM ET on November 21, and expanding to brick and mortar stores the following day at 6 PM, all the hottest smartphones in the United States are getting massive discounts. Free coffee and Christmas cookies will be available to the fearless souls who show up - though most of Walmart's Black Friday deals will come online the evening before, at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

The hot deals include deals on televisions and toys. Usually, it goes relatively quickly, within the first hour to two hours the majority of it goes.

The move gives shoppers on the East Coast more shopping time earlier, executives said, and at 6 p.m. local time in its stores on Thanksgiving Day, according to Reuters.

On Thursday, Walmart published its 2018 Black Friday ad, which is full of incredible tech deals, including DVDs for less than $2, Blu-ray players and video projectors for under $50, a 40-inch TV for under $100, and more.
