Key And Peele Reunite In New 'Toy Story 4' Teaser

After the pair expresses excitement over the upcoming Toy Story sequel, they turn to riffing on Buzz's signature catchphrase: "To infinity and your mom!"

The development history of Toy Story 4 is long and a bit fraught (original director John Lasseter and original writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are no longer involved with the film), and it's becoming clear that the story we were originally teased is probably no longer intact. But they are incredible actors that understand story.

They talk about the new Toy Story that came out yesterday and begin to immitate Buzz Lightyear, but can't remember his classic saying until the toy himself, along with Woody, walk in and correct them, to which the two plush toys reply, alternating lines: "That's the stupidest thing I ever heard!" But is it really a teaser trailer if it's a teaser reaction? Ducky and Bunny are voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, with Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as Woody and Buzz.

Hopefully these characters show up for much, much longer in the actual move, but if not, at least fans have a carnival to look forward too.

Toy Story 4 opens in US theaters on June 21, 2019.

In the film, which comes 23 years after the first, Woody has settled in for a life taking care of his kid, whether that be Andy or Bonnie. "But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called "Forky" to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy".
