Kyrie Irving, Celtics rally from 22 down to top Suns in OT

Saying the Boston Celtics' start to the season has been less than ideal would be a small understatement.

During an appearance on Boston's radio show "Toucher and Rich" on Thursday, Ainge denied reports that came out earlier this week that indicated Rozier was unhappy with his role with the Celtics and he has drawn interest form at least seven teams. Boston outscored Phoenix 35-20 in the fourth to tie the game at 100, then went on to win in overtime.

Then, things started getting weird.

Celtics point guard Terry Rozier enjoyed a breakout in 2017-18 in the wake of Kyrie Irving's season-ending injury. Phoenix would lead for the next 46:52 of the game before a Marcus Morris three-pointer just before the final buzzer forced overtime, where the Suns would eventually fall 116-109. The Celtics trailed by double digits for much of the second half until a furious late rally.

Warren, starting for the first time since October 31, scored 14 first-quarter points as the Suns took advantage of Boston's shooting woes. "And I think that just comes with trust over time and just what we got done here".

The Celtics trailed 55-35 at the break.

The Celtics shot a meager 21.7 percent from the field in the half - 10-for-46 - and committed 10 turnovers.

In a game in which Jayson Tatum, Gordon Hayward and Al Horford combined for 19 points on 7-of-22 shooting, Irving dropped 39 points and six assists to save the night. His defensive stops disrupted the Suns, while his shooting made all the difference for him and the rest of the Celtics. "He brings everything to the table you would think a really good player at that position brings", Stevens said.

Suns: At the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.
