Capcom has announced for Monster Hunter: World crossover with The Witcher will arrive via a free update on February 8 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As of right now, this new content will launch first on PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release shortly after. At the time, Capcom said this will be much more than just a character model, but the company has yet to explain what that means in gameplay terms. We'll have to look out for clues in this event and see if Capcom has left any for us in the "Monster Hunter World" anniversary event.

Geralt will not only play like the one in The Witcher series, but the gravely voice actor, Doug Cockle, has also been working with Capcom on recording Geralt's lines for his appearance in Astera. At this point, fans are looking for the popular protagonist in places that aren't quite expected.

Will you be helping Geralt kill some monsters next month?
