BTS, which took Los Angeles by storm last summer with several sold-out concerts, will be among the presenters at the Grammy Awards this Sunday, when they could also win the first Grammy ever awarded to a K-Pop act.
Big Hit Entertainment has yet to confirm the reports of BTS's appearance. This is the first time staff of a Korean album has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Other nominees for the category are St. Vincent's Masseduction, the Chairman's The Offering, Mitski's Be the Cowboy, and Foxhole's Well Kept Thing.
BTS has released way more than this, and while many failed to make a mark in the USA charts, their first top 10 album in the States came in September 2017, when Love Yourself: Her charted at number 7. In return, BTS members are expected never to miss the chance to show their love and appreciation to their fans once they hit the Grammy stage. Make sure to tune in to the "2019 Grammy Awards" this weekend! Rapper Cardi B, pop diva Lady Gaga and folk-rock singer Brandi Carlile have nabbed key nominations. Sources told Variety that Maroon 5, who is nominated for best pop duo/group performance for "Girls Like You", with Cardi B, may not attend Grammys 2019.
The Grammys will be aired on Sunday, February 10, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
