"I know what I'm doing", the California Democrat told a young girl at one point while debating with the group. The kids are kinda cute at first as they ask the six-term senator to sign on to a "transformative" plan whose component parts, price tag, and schedule are so delusional that Democratic contenders for the 2020 presidential nomination are dragging it is "aspirational" and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) waved it away as "the green dream, or whatever they call it". Across the globe, teenage activists are picking up the mantle of climate change, from the Swedish 16-year-old Greta Thunberg - who told an audience at Davos that "our house is on fire" - to the 21 young Americans suing the federal government for violating their due process rights by knowing about the dangers of climate change for decades, but doing nothing about it.

In another portion of the video, Feinstein is heard telling the kids that she's "trying to do the best" that she can, "which was to write a responsible resolution". I was elected by a million vote plurality.

One of the teenagers pushed back, saying that they were the ones that voted for her, and it is her job to listen to them.

Feinstein told the gaggle of students that she doesn't support the deal, mainly because there is "no way to pay for it". Cordoba added. "We don't have 30 years".

"The 85-year-old lawmaker is seen growing frustrated with the young group discussing so-called man-made contributions to global warming".

Buck Sexton tweeted: "Senator Feinstein refused to be lectured and bullied by a mob of brainwashed tweens on the insanely stupid Green New Deal".

"Well, you didn't vote for me", Feinstein retorted. So maybe, you should listen a little bit.

The Sunrise Movement released their own statement on Twitter, writing that Feinstein showed "stale, establishment thinking".

In the video posted by the Sunrise Movement, the kids hold up a poster-sized letter to present to Feinstein, asking her to support the Green New Deal. "I know what I'm doing", Feinstein said.

This is a fight for our generation's survival. "And you can take that back to whoever sent you here".

"Well, it's not going to get turned around in 10 years", Feinstein said.

'I always welcome the opportunity to hear from Californians who feel passionately about this issue and it remains a top priority of mine, ' she continued. "And then you do it your way".

On the Green New Deal, Ocasio-Cortez finally shared the awaited explanation of the deal's goal to "fully get rid of farting cows", as IJR Red reported. The proposal calls for a job-guarantee program offering a "living wage job to every person who wants one", a plan to aid workers affected by climate change, universal health care and basic income programs, among other items.
