Meghan Markle’s best friends reveal letter she wrote to dad Thomas

Five close friends of the Duchess, each speaking anonymously, have provided a glowing tribute to her in the pages of an American magazine, sharing details of their private visits to Kensington Palace to relay the "truth" about her.

The anonymous friends said Samantha had only started to use the surname Markle again after her sister began dating Prince Harry, previously using Grant.

A new report claims to have spoken to several of the Duchess of Sussex's closest friends, who have slammed her family for attacking the new royal.

This is typical of the Meghan they know, with one of the women describing her as being one of the most caring people. "We [the group of friends in Markle's inner circle] worry about what this is doing to her and the baby". "I think she will always feel genuinely devastated by what he's done", the friend told People in reference to the former television lighting director saying in various interviews that he can't reach his daughter.

"Meghan has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths", the former co-star says, adding they are concerned for their friend and the pressure she is under while six-months pregnant with her first child. "Meghan contacted her father before the wedding to ask if there was any shred of truth and he assured her there was no truth to the reports".

They were in their teens when Meghan was born; Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, raised her on her own after she split from Thomas Sr.

Mr Markle apparently responded with a long note asking for a media photo opportunity.

"The next morning when the vehicle got there (to take him to the airport), he wouldn't get in". Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can fix our relationship.' Because every time her team has to come to her and fact-check something [he has said], it's an arrow to the heart. "Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day". She was hearing about her father's condition, his heart attack, through the tabloids.

The confidante explains that Meghan and Prince Harry's Kensington Palace home of Nottingham Cottage, where the couple have lived since their engagement, is "small" and "cozy" - and doesn't come with the staff outsiders may expect from a royal household. "I love you, and I'm scared". "Did you hear anything I said?'"

Renovations are now in progress at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where the couple will move before the birth. "Her husband was out of town on work", the person shared. She even didn't mind wiping down the dogs if they got dirty outside.
