The Jerusalem Post reports that, although Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar have all sent representatives to Warsaw for the conference, Palestinian Authority officials are boycotting the US -sponsored confab due to the Trump administration's 2018 recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital and its relocation of its Israeli embassy to that capital.
Oman hosted the Israeli leader in October and several high-ranking Israeli ministers have also made visits to countries in the Gulf over the a year ago.

However, in a damper on Netanyahu's efforts, an Israeli TV station broadcast an unprecedented interview Wednesday withsenior Saudi prince who accused Netanyahu of deceiving the Israeli public by claiming that Israeli ties with the wider Arab world can be warmed without the Palestinian issue being solved.
"From the Israeli point of view, Mr. Netanyahu would like us to have a relationship, and then we can fix the Palestinian issue".
But with few RSVPs coming, Poland and the USA have towned down the agenda to focus on ways of promoting peace and security in the Middle East.
Netanyahu is one of the highest-ranking officials in attendance at the summit, alongside foreign ministers and officials from 60 other countries. Pence and Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz were also scheduled to speak.
