Sarri anxious as Chelsea are hit for six by City

While City responded in the flawless manner to Liverpool's victory on Saturday, Chelsea looked far from the top-four side they aspire to be.

In the past week City have beaten Arsenal at home and Everton away before taking Maurizio Sarri's side to pieces with four goals in the opening 25 minutes.

"He looks totally out of the role he played last season. In my first year, we could not play in the way I wanted".

"It's never been what they've done before but it's how intent they are on seeing that style change", Neville added.

Manchester City have apologized to Chelsea for appearing to troll the club by playing the Madness song "One Step Beyond" - seen as one of the London club's anthems - after hammering the Blues 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

And this was their worst loss in any competition since 1991 after failing to recover from Sterling's fourth-minute opener.

The third for AGUERO would come in the second half through a penalty kick.

Reflecting on his remarkable miss in front of an open goal from two yards, which occurred when the score was 1-0, Aguero said: "Sometimes those things happen but the annoyment lasted for five seconds".

City were helped by the vulnerable nature of Chelsea's defence but in truth few teams would have been able to survive the speed, precision and directness they produced. Kevin De Bruyne released Bernardo Silva down the right with a cleverly-taken free-kick and the Portuguese cut back for Sterling to smash home.

But Dean, being Dean, opted to have a little fun, hiding the ball up the back of his shirt out of sight of Aguero, whose 11th hat-trick puts him level with Alan Shearer for the most in Premier League history.

Sterling completed the rout, turning in a low cross from Oleksandr Zinchenko in the 80th.

Sarri's players and the club were humiliated by the 6-0 drubbing against Pep Guardiola's City at the weekend and have been pushed out of the top four by Manchester United's resurgence under caretaker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Guardiola's side retained first place in the league table and Cesar Azpilicueta described it as one of the worst days of his career. "It is hard to explain what happened", said Chelsea captain Azpilicueta.
