Sarri’s response to Hazard saying he has made decision on his future

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has backed Gonzalo Higuain, his footballing son, to reproduce his best form at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have been inconsistent this season after spectacularly crashing 4-0 to Bournemouth and recovered against Huddersfield but have lost also badly to Tottenham and Arsenal respectively.

"Gonzalo is a great player, a great striker", Sarri told Sky Sports. Sarri joked. "I don't know the mother of Gonzalo". "He did very well in Madrid, in Naples, with Juventus. He can be very useful for Eden [Hazard] and Willian".

"At the moment, he is really very determined".

"They speak the same language with the ball, so Gonzalo will be very important for us".

"N'Golo has been playing for six months in different positions".

In the Premier League this term, Hazard has struck 12 times already, but his impressive 10 assists please him just as much.

"I hope I am the football father!"

"But it's up to him, I think". Real Madrid's interest is the worst kept secret in football, with Hazard thought to be keen on signing for Los Blancos. It's a football feeling.

"He needs confidence first of all". He needs a very good relationship with the coach and his team-mates. Sometimes he needs a message from the coach.

"Also when you see the Belgium squad we have a lot, of course, Belgian players but some from Congo like (Romelu) Lukaku, (Michy) Batshuayi and (Christian) Benteke".

Meanwhile, had earlier reported N'Golo Kante could be snapped by Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain as reports claim the French side are willing to hand him an open cheque.

The signing of Higuain - an expensive recruit in his 30s - is contrary to Chelsea's usual transfer policy and Sarri has previously acknowledged the need for the striker to swiftly make an impact.
