'Avengers: Endgame' trailer sees Captain Marvel join the battle against Thanos


The team join together to try and rescue everyone after villain Thanos wiped out half of all living things across the universe in last year's Avengers: Infinity War.

We hope you're ready to feel some overwhelming, comic-book related emotions this morning, because the second trailer for Avengers: Endgame has hit the web, and it's quite the emotional rollercoaster.

This isn't the first Avengers: Endgame trailer to have been released, although it is the first in which we see Carol on board.

There's no indication when this shot of Captain America is taken from, hinting at there being the possibility of time travel in the new Avengers: Endgame trailer.

And speaking of Thanos, we have him off at the top left as the ominous presence, and from the looks of it, he'll actually be sporting a helmet this tie around. At the same time, though, there's also a renewed sense of goal from the leftover heroes as we see them getting back into action. A look at Scott Lang is seen looking at a missing poster. Avengers: Infinity War generated over $2 billion in ticket sales worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Surprisingly, this latest sneak peek gives that away, as they're suited up in their Quantum Realm suits to fight.

"Hey@Marvel, we heard about Tony Stark". Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Nebula (Karen Gillan), from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films, also make an appearance.

Oh, and yes - that Captain Marvel moment too.

As his hammer flies into his hand, he says: "I like this one". Avengers: Endgame is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and arrives April 26.

Starring: The majority of Hollywood at this point, let us be honest here. Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is only slightly larger than Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, but it works in pushing her a little further out amongst the other heroes.
