Lady Gaga has responded to pregnancy rumours in the best possible way

And she recently shot down rumors of a romance with "A Star Is Born" co-star Bradley Cooper after their goo-goo-eyed performance of "Shallow" during the Oscars.

The newly-minted Oscar victor shut down pregnancy rumors and confirmed she's got a new album in the works in one fell swoop Tuesday on Twitter. Gaga saw the rumors on social media claiming she was pregnant, and rather than flat-out deny them, she dropped huge news that she's working on her next album.

What to do if you're a famous person constantly trying to field a sea of dating gossip and pregnancy rumors?

Yes, Lady Gaga is expecting, but it's not what you think!

Even though the A Star Is Born soundtrack was released a year ago, Gaga hasn't released a proper solo album since 2016's Joanne, so she's definitely due.

The possibly-still-untitled album (we're guessing it won't actually be called #LG6) will follow 2016's Joanne.

The two made headlines after the annual awards show for their rather steamy performance at the Oscars for the film's hit song "Shallow", leaving many to wonder if the two had been intimate in real life. "['Shallow'] is a love song, A Star is Born is a love story. When you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel".

"And I would just go, "I'd like to thank the Academy for this tremendous honour". Gaga was apparently overheard telling friends at an Oscar party that she's expecting, but all of this has since been debunked.

"I'm an artist and I guess we did a good job.fooled ya!" she concluded.
