Odell Beckham Jr. brings big name, big plays to Browns

Martin, for those unaware, is a huge New York Giants fan.

Odell Beckham Jr. made it clear early that he was a bit of a different guy.

However, there's no doubt the Browns will be one most talked about teams heading into next season, with everyone anxious to see how this new explosive offseason pans out on the field. General manager David Gettleman said he didn't extend Beckham just to trade him, but there were indications head coach Pat Shurmur did not appreciate some of Beckham's antics.

While the Giants knew they would need to find a replacement at quarterback sooner rather than later since Eli Manning isn't getting any younger, the two-time Super Bowl MVP's successor was expected to be in great shape with Beckham and Saquon Barkley to work with.

Discussing the topic of Odell Beckham Jr. getting traded from the Giants to the Browns, New York-based NFL Network reporter Kim Jones had an emotional, personal story about her relationship with the wide receiver. I am nearly positive a team would've given up something for one of the better safeties in the league who is only 25 years old.

Peppers is a talented player who will also help to replace Collins at safety, but he is still developing and isn't on the level of Collins. Beckham, meanwhile, has caught 390 passes for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns in his five seasons (59 games).

Lastly, the team is still undecided about the quarterback position.

None of these moves, outside of maybe the Vernon-Zeitler trade, makes any type of sense to me.
