Real are believed to be prioritising the signing of a new attacker this summer, with former Barcelona star Neymar - now a teammate of Mbappe's at PSG - another name admired by the Spanish club.
However, when pressed to elaborate on the potential of Mbappe joining Real, Perez instead responded: "Right now, all we are concerned with is ending the season well and start preparing for next season".
"Zidane's French so maybe he could do something with Mbappe", Perez, with a laugh, told reporters.
Neither player has categorically denied any rumours linking them with a move to Real Madrid, which could suggest that the ball will be in Los Blancos' court in the upcoming transfer windows.
When asked which of the two PSG stars he would prefer to sign, Perez simply responded: "Both".
However, the interest in Hazard remains for Perez, and the fact Zidane and the Belgian have a huge mutual respect - something they have spoken about - only seems to confirm the likelihood of a deal this summer.
While Hazard has previously made it clear that he would not force through an exit from Stamford Bridge like compatriot Thibaut Courtois, the report from ESPN claims that Chelsea do not want to risk losing their prized asset for nothing once his contract expires in 2020 and would be willing to sanction a sale for a figure in the upwards of the £100 million mark. Chelsea are ready to sell this summer as they won't allow him to leave for nothing the following summer.
Zinedine Zidane's return to Real Madrid has certainly got fans excited - and if president Florentino Perez's unveiling comments are anything to go by, things could get even better. The rumours linking Hazard with a move to Real Madrid have refused to go away, especially with the Belgian global set to enter the final year of his contract with the Blues.
