Kiamichi ($26) won her way into the field via her $21 upset in the Magic Night Stakes seven days earlier and then she gave nothing else a chance, eventually winning by a length from her fellow James Cummings-trained galloper Microphone ($8), with Anthony Freedman training the third placegetter, Blue Diamond Stakes victor Lyre, for Godolphin.
Unbeaten in nearly four years spanning her past 31 starts and 23 Group One victories, Winx started as the $1.06 favourite to claim the weight-for-age George Ryder (1500m) for the fourth-straight year on Saturday.
Winx's victory on Saturday was her 32nd on the spin and her fourth George Ryder Stakes victory, three weeks before what could be the final race of her career in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
She surpassed retired northern hemisphere jumper Hurricane Fly s then-record 22 Group 1 victories at the Chipping Norton Stakes earlier this month.
Regular rider Hugh Bowman will again be aboard Winx who will jump from gate seven in the eight horse George Ryder Stakes field.

"Hughie popped out four-wide with a bit of arrogance as we've seen him do and as he's entitled to do", Waller said. "I'm glad that she does it, not just for us, but for everybody". Just a marvellous horse to work with, marvellous to have her in.
"There's not a lot more you can say - she's just out of this world".
"Obviously I was more assertive with her over the last 300 metres than I would be here early in the mornings but for her it was very comfortable".
The Ryder is one of five Group One races on Saturday's Golden Slipper program at Rosehill, the signature race meeting for the western Sydney track which is home to Waller's stable and its biggest equine star Winx.
Victor of four Cox Plates, Winx is scheduled to have the final start of her glittering career in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on April 13.
