While OnePlus 7 has already been a part of the rumour mill since previous year, a recent leak shows that it will also have a Pro model: OnePlus 7 Pro. According to a new report, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro may be launching globally on May 14. He informed that OnePlus would be working on electronics rather than whole cars as it might turn out to be more complex. If the rumours are to be believed, the company will launch two new smartphones next month, where the OnePlus 7 Pro will be a new addition to the lineup.
As per the leaks, OnePlus 7 is expected to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with almost 95 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will come with the same features as OnePlus 7 Pro with added 5G functionality.
The OnePlus 7 will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with at least 6GB of RAM.
Till now, the speculations are that OnePlus will be bringing three devices this year. He has given quite a few on-point leaks about the Pixel 3 and OnePlus past year. The poster was leaked on Weibo but there is no official confirmation from the OnePlus yet. About the optics, the device will boast a single pop-up front camera module while the rear will have a triple-camera array arranged with 48+16+8MP sensors and no ToF or depth sensor.
The device will also include a curved display, similar to Samsung's flagship offerings, while an alert slider will make a comeback, and once again be located above the power / lock key. It will run on Android 9 Pie OS. On the other hand, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G will sport Snapdragon X50 5G modem backed by what we could expect a decent 4,000-ish mAh battery since every smartphone with 5G launched this year has a large battery pack to provide backup to the latest high-speed 5G network.
Anyway, the leaked launch date is May 14 and as we already said, it comes from a fairly reputable source.
