CAD renders of the OnePlus 7 were previously released, showing off a notchless design made possible by the use of a pop-up selfie camera, and triple rear cameras.
But the front camera has got an update as the 6T comes with 20 MP front-facing camera with a f/1.7 aperture instead of the 16 MP f/2.0 sensor on the OnePlus 6. While the OnePlus 7 is anticipated to succeed the company's now available OnePlus 6T, other rumours tip that the company will also launch the OnePlus 7 Pro alongside, with the OnePlus 7 5G variant also tipped. The OnePlus 7 will be slightly different from the Pro variants, which will be targeted towards the premium category.
According to an image tweeted by noted teenage tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro could be launched on May 14, 2019. Maybe that's the difference between the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro, also coinciding with the "Go Beyond Speed" moniker. However, for the first time in the company's history, it looks like there will be more than one variant of the phone.
For all else, we expect the OnePlus 7 to continue the tradition of fast-performing, buttery smooth OnePlus phones with a focus on speed. There have been rumors about the OnePlus 7 featuring stereo speakers.
While the in-display fingerprint can be seen in the leaked images, it will be present on all three variants. It will also have a 4,150mAh battery with support for OP's "Warp Charge" technology.
The dimensions of it are 157.7 x 74.8 x 8.1mm with the camera bump protruding an extra 1.4mm which seems extreme if indeed correct. While the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones will be coming to all the markets, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G could be limited to the Western markets.
The leak we cited earlier suggests that the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will launch on May 15th.
