A short teaser of the second episode of Game of Thrones 8 has been released. The Season 8 premiere may not have been great for all the characters, but it was a hit for the show and HBO! In the scene, Jon Snow is swinging around on the back of Rhaegal (Daenerys's dragon), as he and Dany fly above the North, as they do. Either way, I am sure I can get a head start from logging on to social media and find out what I may have missed from last night's episodes.

Just ask Kit Harington, who almost had a very NSFW accident while filming a scene for the season 8 premiere episode, which aired last night.

Rising nearly weekly from episode-to-episode and year-to-year, Season 7 of the David Benioff and D.B.

The previous record for the show was the season seven finale, which nabbed 16.9 million viewers in August 2017.

According to HBO, 11.8 million viewers tuned in to the show's on-air broadcast of its season 8 premiere. But seeing all those moments play out on the small screen still made us emotional when it came time to think about how far the Starks have come in the past eight seasons. However, after the episode had drawn to an intense close, I perused the platform and was a little taken aback by how quickly and brazen people were being about posting plot specifics and pivotal screenshots. When we became aware of the error, we immediately fixed it and we look forward to tuning in this evening. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. We can see Jorah, Grey Worm, Arya, Gendry, Tyrion, and Jon Snow preparing for the Night King's forces, and we can only imagine that all hell will break loose shortly thereafter.
