During Sony's second-ever State of Play, Away: The Survival Series was announced for PS4 with a trailer that shows us the wild through the eyes of an adorable Sugar Glider.

The Survival Series, a third-person adventure game inspired by nature documentaries coming to PlayStation 4 and PC. They went into such detail that everything from blades of grass to leaves has been looked at. Whether you're hunting down small critters or avoiding large predators through stealth and agility, you get to choose how you want to approach each situation. Also loves books and can be found face first in one all the time.

Away: The Survival Series has what a lot of survival games don't, a reason.

The world can be as lovely as it is risky for cute and fuzzy little animals, and Away: The Survival Series is going to show you just how true that is. This makes sense, however, Breaking Walls also gave players a bit of push. Set in the distant future, natural disasters force this Sugar Glider to leave its home and travel across various different environments to try and find a new home.

It's in development at Breaking Walls, whose site suggests we'll only be playing as the Sugar Glider, which has the crustacean fans on the team very upset.
