"He's so ideal", the reality star wrote.
"We celebrated our baby boy about a week ago and now he's here!"
Then, when she shared a follow-up post with pics from the fun celebration, the caption was just the same teddy bear emoji by itself, which many baby name theorists took as confirmation.
The 38-year-old has been known for picking unusual names for her children, with the likes of North, Saint and Chicago taking up her first three.
The reality star and new mom of four announced their baby boy's arrival via surrogate on Friday, telling more than 60 million of her Twitter followers, "He's here and he's flawless!"
Over the weekend, she posted photos to Instagram and Twitter of the CBD-themed baby shower she had at the end of last month, writing, "We celebrated our baby boy about a week ago and now he's here!" "Here are some pics of my CBD baby shower".
Another reason why fans think Kardashian and West named their baby Bear is because it references the Major League Baseball and NFL sporting teams from the rapper's hometown - the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears, respectively. One user wrote, "Bear???".
After some quick research and fact checking, fans confirmed that Bear is, in fact, one syllable, and would, therefore, be an attractive option for the reality star.
There is still no word as to the newest member of the Kardashian family's name, but you can bet we will let you know once we find out.
Her model friend Nicole Williams-English - who attended Kardashian's lavish baby shower - also gave oxygen to the name theory when she commented on the reality star's post with a bear emoji.
Another added: "Did you call him Bear?".
Ultimately, until the couple actually confirms the name themselves, all the speculation in the world won't be anything more than simple conjecture.
