The photo was captioned, "It was just for a few seconds, but I'll always be thankful to have been on the pen-ultimate episode of 'Game of Thrones'".
In season eight's fifth episode, archers line the walls to protect the kingdom against Daenerys.
Aaron Rodgers has confirmed via Instagram that he made a cameo appearance on Sunday night's episode of "Game of Thrones". Despite his best efforts, Rodgers's character succumbs to the Dragon Queen's wrath and meets a violent, fiery end.
Rodgers joins a long list of celebrity cameos on the show.
He hinted a year ago in an interview on "The Dan Patrick Show" that a GOT appearance could be in the works. Something tells us any fan would appreciate a dramatic Game of Thrones entrance (and exit) like his. The Chico native sneaked in under the wire, appearing in the penultimate episode of the show's eighth and final season.
Rodgers himself confirms in the mini-documentary that you can see him helping a woman who is injured on the streets.
During an interview with Dan Patrick in 2018, Rodgers was asked what he would want to happen in his scene if he were to ever make a cameo.
"I can neither confirm nor deny that", he said at the time.
