Patrice Evra claims Manchester United fans are 'killing' Paul Pogba

Tension has reportedly rocked Old Trafford after Manchester United players clashing over the club's bonus scheme that favours Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba. "There was the incident with the fan, but he's the best scorer, [and] has the best assists".

Two Spanish La Liga clubs are plotting a summer move for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) winger Angel Di Maria according to widespread reports emanating from the Spanish media.

As part of an interview with Sky Sports, the former United left-back insisted he was not protecting Pogba, but said that incidents such as the one which saw a supporter criticise him following Sunday's defeat to Cardiff City are "killing" him. I know you can question his leadership and in the last few games you want more, so that's why you can criticise him right now, but overall he has been the best player this season.

When pushed on whether his pal would remain at Old Trafford beyond the summer, Evra added: 'I think he will leave because you need to feel the love when you play somewhere, you need to be committed.

"If Paul decides to stay another year and then leave, or stay another few years, maybe the fans will love him because he is committed".

The Chile worldwide joined United from Arsenal in January 2018 in a deal that also saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates Stadium.

"Some players only come for the money, I am not afraid to say that", Evra said.

Premier League club Manchester United had a highly disappointing 2018-19 season. "The fans are the ones who deserve an apology as they always support you no matter what happens".

"I apologise to the fans for not being able to achieve our goals, Nevertheless we are Manchester United!"

"I tell him every day what it means to wear the tracksuit, not even the shirt, just the tracksuit, and what it represents".

Now that Man United have failed to qualify for the Champions League, the players will have to take a hefty pay cut for the upcoming season.
