Rage 2 Launch Trailer Showcases Insanity at its Finest

Rage 2 isn't out until May 14th, 2019, but that hasn't stopped Bethesda releasing the game's launch trailer to get fans in the mood for some insane killing.

A new Rage 2 content roadmap went up on Bethesda's site Friday, and it breaks down the next few months of free inbound content.

RAGE 2 launches on May 14 on PS4, but before it gets here, let's roll back the clock to get you caught up with this launch trailer.

While it may be a common trend for triple-A games to have post-launch content roadmaps now, at least Bethesda is giving something back to people that don't want to pony up extra cash. To redeem your rewards you'll have to be online and signed in with your Bethesda.net account.

July - July marks another big free update for the game, with another new vehicle type and enemy joining the game. Should the first community challenge succeed, everyone will earn the Vomit Comet Pistol skin.

An in-game event, "Bring the Ruckus", featuring Ruckus the Crusher is also part of the plan. Surprisingly, RAGE 2 is using Avalanche Studios' Apex game engine, and it really shows, especially in terms of performance. Both of these updates will be free to all players.

The first expansion, Rise of the Ghosts, will be released in August.

September-December - There's plenty more coming to round out 2019, including the second major expansion coming in November.

Rage 2 launches May 14th for PC (including Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
