Despite its bigger footprint, the Realme X has a slightly smaller battery than the Realme 3 Pro. In the last few quarters, the Realme smartphones gave a tough competition to Xiaomi's Redmi series. Realme X Lite won't launch in India, as it has just Realme 3 Pro rebranded to be launched in China. The Realme X is basically the OnePlus 7 Pro with OnePlus 7 (kind of) internals. It sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels.
Equipped with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display and in-display fingerprint sensor, there is no display notch on Realme X as its selfie camera with 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor is housed within a motorized pop-up camera. It is protected under Gorilla Glass 5 and produces 100% of the colors in the NTSC gamut. However, the Realme X settles with the last year's Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform featuring Kryo 360 CPU and Adreno 616 GPU.
Price-wise, the Realme X with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage goes for CNY 1,499 (~RM 911) while the 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variants are priced at CNY 1,599 (~RM 972) and CNY 1,799 (~RM 1,093) respectively. There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expanding the storage on this device. There is AI mode for scene detection, and the cameras support 960fps ultra-slow-motion video capture too.
In terms of optics, the Realme C2 has a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.12 microns and an f/2.2 lens. Same as other OPPO devices, the Android skin comes with features like Frame Boost and Touch Boost, which in turn combine to make the core of the Game Boost 2.0. It is backed by a 3,765mAh non-removable battery and also supports 5V/4A (20W) VOOC 3.0 flash charge technology. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, dual-SIM and a micro USB port. The company is known for its budget offerings, but it's aiming higher with the newly announced Realme X. While the standard Realme X comes in Steam White and Punk Blue colors, the Realme X Naoto Fukasawa collection will be available with Onion and White Garlic finish.
The base model starts at CNY 1,199 (around Rs 12,000) with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Realme also launched the 6GB and 8GB RAM variants for CNY 1599 (approx Dollars 230 / INR 16,000) and CNY 1799 (approx USD 260 / INR 18,000) respectively.
As for Realme X Lite, it is available for CNY 1199 (~RM 729) for the 4GB/64GB model, CNY 1299 (~RM 790) for the 6GB/64GB option, and CNY 1499 (~RM 911) for 6GB/128GB variant.
