The season has not just saddened the audience but has even disappointed most.

Anyone PANICKING about this almost-decade-long series finally coming to an end next week?! "Here we are at the last table read", Weiss says.

Now, the network has released the first trailer for behind-the-scenes doc, showing us what exactly went into bringing the final season of Game of Thrones to life.

Anyway, the trailer for the documentary dropped overnight, and it'll premiere on HBO on May 26.

It nearly doesn't even matter who sits on the throne at the end of this, we'll be empty either way without more to look forward to. In addition, there will be some pretty serious bets placed on one of the largest events in TV history, so if you're into that sort of thing, make sure you choose wisely when putting down some hard earned cash. Billed as "a farewell to Westeros with the people who built the realm", The Last Watch is a two-hour documentary that was commissioned by HBO to follow the production of the final season and the leadup to its sixth and final episode, the series finale. The Last Watch has been directed by Jeanie Finlay (Orion: The Man Who Would Be King), who spent a year on the sets.

"Much more than a "making of" documentary, this is a amusing, heartbreaking story, told with wit and intimacy, about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world - and then have to say goodbye to it".

Soon, Game of Thrones will be over. With that being said, you can prepare for the end by watching the final episode trailer below, thanks to HBO.
