Samsung's $350 Galaxy A50 smartphone arrives in the USA on June 13

The Android 9 Pie update for Galaxy J7 (2017) comes just days after Samsung had released the same update for Galaxy J7 Nxt and Galaxy J7 Pro smartphones in the global markets.

South Korean tech giant Samsung has refreshed its mid-ranged M series with a new smartphone M40 priced at Rs 19,990 in India.

Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is now receiving the Android 9 Pie update. The update is now available to users in Thailand. The device features a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display, 6GB RAM and 128GB maximum storage, the company said in a statement. The One UI update for the three Galaxy smartphone brings features like navigation gestures, floating Samsung keyboard, Night mode which enables a system-wide dark theme, as well as Android Pie's Adaptive Battery and Digital Wellbeing.

The Galaxy A50 will be the first to launch in the U.S. on June 13.

Just like the Samsung Galaxy S10, the Galaxy S9 will also get the feature on the camera update with the latest update. The last two Galaxy Tab S generations launched with previous-gen chipsets, so it's nice Samsung is finally bringing its tablets up to speed. Currently, the update appears to be limited to the LTE variant of the tablet and is only available in Italy for now.
