With little known about the details and release date, it is expected that the ROG Phone 2 will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. The ROG Phone that had released previous year supported 90 Hz refresh rate. The other two were the Razer Phone and Razer Phone unveiled in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The original ROG Phone comes with a 4000 mAh battery, a rear fingerprint sensor, haptic feedback "AirTriggers" for games, a secondary USB-C connector, RGB lighting, and an optional cooler that can be attached during extended gaming sessions.

Tencent Games and ASUS will be releasing "Under the One Man" on the ROG Phone 2. This bad boy will apparently sport an extra-sharp screen with a blazing fast 120Hz refresh rate, created to fully immerse mobile users in silky smooth fighting experiences like those offered by a game called "Under One Person".

The original version of the ROG Phone had a 90Hz refresh rate with a full HD OLED screen, but we don't know if the new one will also offer OLED or will go for LCD technology for 120Hz support. Game developers may soon realize the growing demand and introduce games accordingly. Now, the Taiwanese company has revealed that the smartphone will come with a 120Hz display.

The ROG Phone 2 will be a flagship offering by the brand. Design-wise, it may boast an RGB LED lighting to accentuate the appearance. The only other smartphones that have managed to launch so far with a 120Hz display are the Razer Phone and the Razer Phone 2.

In order to provide a better gaming experience to its users, Taiwan-based Asus has also announced a partnership with China-based giant Tencent Games for in-depth optimization of game content according to the hardware.
