Prime Day is your ticket to scoring great deals on some of the best tablets and laptops around. Yes, it's never been cheaper and we're pretty sure it will go back to full price as soon as Prime Day is over, because that's how sales work.

Early Prime Day deal alert: This best-selling Instant Pot is down to the lowest price ever!

It's the ideal time to grab a bargain on that household product you've been eyeing for weeks or just spoil yourself because you damn well deserve it. It's turned into a massive shopping event since then.

So, with Prime Day about to begin here are some tips for staying safe online. The Amazon Shopping app will feature all of the deals showcased on Amazon.com, so you don't have to worry about missing out on a deal.

Can't wait two days to try out all your shiny new tech?

After you've added the items to your shopping cart and selected "check out", you'll be asked to select a delivery time.

For regular Whole Foods shoppers who plan to do any Prime Day shopping, taking advantage of this promotion is a no-brainer. Just keep in mind that there's a fee if you don't meet that minimum.

For instance, if you own an Amazon Echo you can say, "Alexa, what are my deals" and Alexa will tell you this weekend's exclusive deals. Alexa Voice Shopping uses the credit card you have on file to complete your order.

That means consumers are likely to see major price cuts across the range of Echo speakers and Amazon is already giving a taste of what could be to come.

Lovers of organic produce (or just a bountiful salad bar) are almost two years removed from Amazon's finalized acquisition of Whole Foods. This gives us a good idea of what pricing we can expect during the event on some of Amazon's hardware.

On Monday and Tuesday, we're going to be hunting for Prime Day deals that we know you're going to love.

Target will also join the sale frenzy this week, running "deal days" on Monday and Tuesday, the same dates as Prime Day. So far, those include $2 off a rotisserie chicken, buy one, get one free on brown butter cookies and 20% off sliced deli meats (per pounds).
