Biden says Trump is 'the bully I've always stood up to'

Kamala Harris to go after him on his past stance on busing during the first round of 2020 Democratic primary debates. Show me something ahead of time, ' Biden said of North Korea, faulting Trump for his openness with the rogue nation and its leader, Kim Jong Un. "I'm going to let you die, ' man?"

"I was prepared for them to come after me", Biden told CNN in a new interview.

Cuomo asked Biden how Democratic voters can be confident that he's up for the task of taking on the combative president - who has dubbed him "Sleepy Joe" and mocked his intelligence- after having trouble sparring in last week's presidential debate. "She knows Beau, she knows me". The former vice president said he will hold off going after his opponents' previous positions because he doesn't want the debate between Democrats to be backward looking. I prosecuted the pharmaceutical companies when they preyed on seniors.

Meanwhile, Democrats have said Biden could better his chances of defeating President Donald Trump, should he win the nomination, by picking a woman as his running mate. 'If we keep doing that, that's, I mean, we should be debating what we do from here'. Kamala Harris on Thursday clarified her position on federally mandated school busing, saying it's only necessary in cases where local governments are actively opposing integration.

The Biden campaign hit back by pointing out Harris' hypocrisy in attacking their candidate for something she apparently now endorses herself. During the 1970s and '80s, however, Biden actively worked against busing efforts and was an outspoken critic of the tactic.

Biden said he wishes he had been labeled as a moderate when he was running for the Senate in DE "back in the day". They did not support it'.

'Every child out there is capable, but they're living in circumstances that make it hard, ' Biden said. We're sitting around here as if it's an insoluble problem'.

The feud erupted as Harris enjoyed a surge in a number of post-debate polls and both she and Biden descended on Iowa for the Fourth of July holiday. Biden responded that he didn't want to get into a "scrum" in front of voters. "Do you think the American public looked at that debate, take me out of it, and thought, boy, I really liked the way that's being conducted?"
