In each case, police say the alerts were carefully thought out and integral in locating the children, with all but one found safe. The family was reunited a short time later.

No foul play or ill-intent is suspected, however police say that Easton is not familiar with the area and they are concerned that he may be lost. "Is something bad happening to my child?' We just want everybody to put themselves in those positions". "In the end, we decided (to issue the alert) because we've done absolutely everything we can and we're no closer to finding out what happened".
Dallas police canceled an Amber Alert for an 18-month-old boy after the child's body was found in a landfill. The OPP even reports that people are even calling 911 to voice their displeasure.
He also added: "We don't take the Amber Alert lightly. Sending you all of my love Dana xx".
As of 6 a.m. they had already received a number of calls from the public complaining about the wake up call.
For this, the OPP makes no apologies. Police acknowledge alerts may cause an inconvenience to some but will not apologize for using all of the tools available to help locate a child.
A Regional Amber Alert was issued at about 12:15 p.m. Dallas PD says detectives have searched the house and are canvassing the neighborhood. Authorities issued a statewide AMBER Alert and began investigating the disappearance as a possible abduction.
Five Amber Alerts have been activated in 2019, say police, and four of the alerts directly assisted in the safe return of a child.
