Serena Williams has Meghan Markle's back and she proved it yet again when she addressed the Duchess of Sussex's controversial Wimbeldon outing at a press conference recently. The stylish Duchesses were also joined by Kate's sister, Pippa - the trio sat together as they cheered on Simona Halep and Serena Williams.

Meghan Markle stunned in a crisp white shirt and patterned pleated skirt for the much-anticipated women's final.

Kate and Meghan - who have been at the centre of feud rumours for months - both attended the exclusive tennis event previous year, too. Their last joint event was past year, at the 2018 ladies' final for the Wimbledon tournament.

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton: Meghan arrives in her whites!

The Duchess of Cambridge was the picture of elegance in a gold-buttoned, deep green dress by Dolce & Gabbana, complete with delicate bow and puffed-up sleeves, worn with nude courts. Social media users have described the pattern as a "surprise delight" on Twitter. The pair headed to King Power Royal Charity Polo Day on Wednesday, which took place at Billingbear Polo Club in Wokingham, Surrey.

She paired the dress with a Dolce and Gabanna Sicily bag and Asprey's woodland oak leaf earrings.

The double-duchess appearance will also come after Meghan found herself in a bit of hot water over her alleged Wimbledon behavior.

It is the second trip to Wimbledon this year for the both of them.

A Wimbledon fan who was accused of invading Meghan Markle's privacy by taking a picture of her said he had "no idea she was there" and was actually posing for a selfie with the court behind him. Meghan watched Serena play against Croatian pro Kaja Juvan on July 4 with friends Genevieve Hillis and Lindsay Roth.

The seven-time Wimbledon victor has won 23 grand slam titles.
