Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 registers decent start at box-office

It was always predicted that Super 30 would open around ₹ 10-12 crores. It must be mentioned that Kabir Singh managed one of the highest openings on Day 1 with its collection of Rs 20.21 crore. Considering the response given to the film, it can be said that this film is good for the weekend and good earnings in the coming days.

Not much is known about the film right now even though the release of the film is just three months away.

Hrithik is back with his latest movie Super 30 after one and a half year of break.

According to a source in the film unit, producer Aditya Chopra wants nothing about the film to be revealed before the first official promotional asset drops. But now that his film, Super 30 had released on Friday, trade analysts hoped that fans would flock the theatres and the film would receive a good opening.

The movie, which is 154 minutes long, is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar who launched the Super 30 programme in Patna in 2002, which prepares underprivileged students for IIT-JEE, the entrance examination for the Indian Institutes of Technology.

Well, Hrithik Roshan has a lot of exposure from this film because he worked hard for this film. Had it been a solo release, the film would have definitely earned in the range of ₹ 18-20 crores.

The film directed by Siddharth Anand is touted as an action thriller. The film was never expected to set the cash registers jingling on its opening day itself anyway, primary because of its content and the kind of audience it targets.
