Operation Apocalypse Z Hits Call Of Duty Black Ops 4

The update has introduced a host of changes, the biggest of which have occurred on PS4 with the addition of Operation Apocalypse Z. The size of the update can vary depending on your platform and region. As the season progresses, players will be able to participate in the Alpha Omega Gauntlet called Duck and Cover, bringing 30 new challenges for Zombies fanatics to take a crack at.

The new mode will see players take on the role of Reaper in multiplayer as a scythe-wielding Specialist, battle their way across newly updated Blackout maps, and "take on an all-new Zombies experience".

As we mentioned though, there's a livestream later today in which developers will showcase some of the key changes to Blackout, Zombies and multiplayer modes. This includes new weapons like the Reaver C86 Crossbow, Black Ops III's Argus Shotgun, Daemon 3XB Mastercraft, MOG 12 MKll and Vendetta MKll that players can acquire and master.

Studio Treyarch has released a trailer for the future operation of "Apocalypse Z" for your network shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The Battle Royale mode saw great attention and adoration at launch, but rapidly lost the limelight due to stagnation. Reaper can also deploy a Radar Shroud that disables your enemies' minimap when they're under its umbrella.

“We cant wait for the Zombies faithful to experience Alpha Omega, which marks the return of the Aether story and the opportunity to play as both the Primis and Ultimis crews – its a unique mix of gameplay that has truly been inspired by our community of fans, ” said Mark Gordon, Co-Studio Head, Treyarch.

Remnant, The Museum of Unnatural History that is located deep in the heart of the Louisana swamp will provide players with indoor action and interference from a cursed artifact being held there.

There are three new maps available to season pass owners: Der Schatten, Remnant, and Havana.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. This allows fans to gain new insight into the ever-twisting story as the timelines converge.

The new Operation Apocalypse Z for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be available tomorrow on July 9 on PlayStation 4 with Xbox One and PC to follow later on July 16.
