RECALL ALERT: Toy Story 4 'Forky' toy recalled for choking hazard

A Disney toy fork has been recalled in Canada over concerns it could pose a choking hazard to children.

In a move therefore loaded with irony, Disney and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have recalled an official Forky plush toy, citing safety concerns.

Consumers are being told to return the product immediately.

The plush toy has the following tracking numbers; FAC-024868-18338, FAC-024868-19032, FAC-024868-19060, and FAC-024868-19091.

Anyone who purchased one of these Forkys can get a full refund by visiting a Disney store or theme park.

The 11-inch toy is a soft, stuffed replica of a character in Disney Pixar's "Toy Story 4" movie. Voiced by Arrested Development and Veep star Tony Hale, Forky is created by the film's main child character Bonnie from a spork and other arts and craft materials.

It's not trash, but the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is saying "Forky" could be unsafe for young children.

About 80,000 of the toys, which were made in China, have been distributed, according to a news release.
