Olive Garden will offer Lifetime Pasta Pass

Olive Garden is offering a pass to those who want an lifetime supply of pasta, soup, salads and breadsticks, but only to a select group of people.

Of course, there is a catch.

The $100 pass allows customers to order from the Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu at the restaurant chain as many times as they wish for nine weeks, September 23 to November 24.

"Olive Garden has always been known for Italian Generosity and making everyone feel like family, which is why we introduced our Pasta Pass five years ago", said Jennifer Arguello, executive vice president of marketing for Olive Garden in a press release. Visit pastapass.com for more information. Olive Garden says the new pass will pay for itself, on average, by the time you hit your 45th bowl, and can be used all day every day - with the exception Thanksgiving and Christmas when Olive Garden restaurants are closed.

Those who opted in for the Lifetime passes will be notified if they qualify the following day, at which point they can finish their transactions and start scoping out real-estate listings near their preferred Olive Garden.

Want a piece of the action but not sure you can handle the intensity of either pass?

Olive Garden is encouraging fans to visit the website early to join the online waiting room starting at 1:55 p.m. E.T. on Thursday. Those who get the pass get nine weeks of unlimited servings of pastas, sauces and toppings from the restaurant's Never Ending Pasta Bowl menu. This year, a new Creamy Roasted Garlic sauce is added to the lineup.
