Real Madrid skipper Ramos backs Pogba pursuit

Ramos has also praised Real team-mate Gareth Bale after a summer in which Zinedine Zidane said the Wales winger's departure would be "best for everyone" when it looked like he was close to leaving the Spanish capital.

"I know he's spoken with a few players, but not [Sergio] Ramos", said Mathias Pogba.

Arsenal might have another shot at signing Yannick Carrasco since his club at CSL, Dalian Yifang, are being linked with a move for Dries Mertens.

Speculation initially gained momentum after the World Cup victor opened up about wanting to try a "new challenge somewhere else", but the Frenchman failed to secure a move prior to the European window closing last week.

"Who? Oh, Messi. Sometimes, not always".

This is not the first time Mathias Pogba has talked up a move to La Liga for his brother, as he previously commented back in July that the Red Devil has a soft spot for Spanish football because of its technical obsession.

"I have had the chance to win nearly every title with my team and I do not stop dreaming and being enthusiastic. I would love to lift my fifth Champions League title, that would be insane, but also win the Euro's or the World Cup with the national team, that would be special", he commented.

Florentino Perez has opened up on Real Madrid's decision not to pursue the signings of Paul Pogba and Neymar this summer. "Oh, [Raphael] Varane, yes, and yes, with [Zinedine] Zidane, yes". I don't want to shorten it when I am feeling good physically and mentally.

"I think he brings balance to a team".

Although, on the other hand, Pogba will start his final year in his contract at Manchester United, and at that time the Red Devils will be forced to transfer the player to Los Blancos, if they come again once again for the French worldwide.
