What's most striking about the Pixelbook Go, however, is the unique aesthetic provided by the ribbed bottom panel. The images and video shared in the report are said to be of a prototype of Google Pixelbook Go.
The most distinctive feature of the new laptop, which 9to5Google was given advance access to via an anonymous source, is its shell, which features a rubber grip surface to make it easier to hold and more stable on surfaces.
The video also illustrates the audio quality of the prototype's two front-facing speakers, which according to 9to5Google, deliver exceptional sound. In addition to the "Not Pink" color seen above, the Pixelbook Go will be offered in "Just Black" too. It will have a 13-inch screen with the options of regular 1080p and sharp 4K resolutions, and it will run on typical laptop specs like Intel Core processors, 8 to 16 GB of RAM, and 64 to 256 GB of storage. We do think there will be other variants such as Core i5 and i7, 16GB of RAM, and 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.
This year, the Pixel 4 has been leaked in every way possible, with Google itself confirming details about the phone beforehand, going so far as to put up a giant billboard to show off the new "Orange" colour of the phone.
The Pixelbook Go is light on physical ports with a USB-C port on either side and a 3.5mm jack on the left.
